Vol. 2 (2024): Challenges and Issues of Modern Science

The journal Challenges and Issues of Modern Science is now accepting manuscript submissions for the upcoming issue, Vol. 3 (2024). We invite researchers and scholars to submit articles.

  • Submission deadline: October 21, 2024.
  • Issue publication date: the second half of November 2024.

Introduction

Only original manuscripts that have not been previously published in any form, including publications in other languages, and that are not under consideration by other journals or other kinds of publications, may be submitted to the journal Challenges and Issues of Modern Science.

Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals or other publications is prohibited not only at the time of submission to Challenges and Issues of Modern Science but also throughout the entire review process and after its publication in this journal.

Authors bear full responsibility and guarantee that the submission does not contain information with restricted access, including but not limited to state secrets, trade secrets, confidential information, personal data without the necessary consent for publication, and any other information that, according to current legislation, is not subject to disclosure. The publisher and editorial board assumes no responsibility for any violations related to the disclosure of such information.

If the manuscript submitted to Challenges and Issues of Modern Science continues to develop the authors' research theme and is based on previously published works, authors are required to clearly indicate this and highlight the differences. The reuse of texts, figures, or other materials by the authors that have been published must be declared and approved by the rights holder in accordance with their licensing and copyright policies.

1 Where to Start?

A successful publication in the journal begins with thorough manuscript preparation. Following the recommendations not only increases your chances of a positive review. Remember, attention to detail and responsibility enhance your scientific reputation. By adhering to these simple yet important steps, you will not only streamline the publication process but also contribute to improving the quality of scientific submissions.

  1. Familiarize yourself with the journal’s main policies. Ensure that your manuscript meets the requirements concerning the topic and other key aspects.
  2. Review the publication ethics and integrity guidelines. It is essential that your submission adequately meets ethical standards and the requirements for publication integrity.
  3. Determine the relevance of your submission to the journal’s section by fields. Choose the section that best suits your research according to the provided list of scientific fields.
  4. Spend extra time studying the requirements for formatting the abstract and bibliographic references. They should comply with the journal’s style.
  5. Download the manuscript template and its version with formatting recommendations. Using the template will simplify the manuscript preparation process and reduce the number of necessary revisions.
  6. Prepare the manuscript layout for submission. Format the manuscript according to the requirements, considering all instructions and recommendations. Ensure that it fully complies with the journal’s requirements.
  7. Familiarize yourself with the manuscript evaluation criteria on the peer review page and independently assess its compliance with the journal's requirements.

2 What Are the Next Steps?

  • Register on the website.

If you are not yet registered, create an account to gain access to all submission tools. Review the registration guide to make this process as smooth as possible. For seamless access to your account, remember or write down your username and password. Note that the system’s stated email authorization option is not functioning, so please use only your username for login.

  • Make the submission.

Make your manuscript available to editors and reviewers using the submission system on our website. Before starting the submission process, we recommend preparing all necessary metadata in a separate text file according to the specifications provided in the illustrated guide. Avoid entering metadata manually from the keyboard, as this can lead to errors.

Remember that metadata, like identifiers in programming, must be accurate. Even an extra character, such as an unnecessary Space or Enter, will distort the value. Understand that "Surname", " Surname", and "Surname " are three different values. Use the guide on the Metadata Requirements page to ensure accurate submission.

Complete the 5 steps of manuscript submission. Each of these steps is crucial for ensuring the correct presentation of your manuscript. Following the instructions will help expedite the review process and increase your chances of successful publication.

3 Terms and Conditions

3.1 Submissions are made through the Submission Panel of the Open Journal Systems on the journal’s website.

3.2 The submission is also considered an application for participation in the conference.

3.3 The manuscript must comply with the journal’s themes, policies, and requirements.

3.4 The publication of the conference abstracts does not guarantee or confirm the acceptance of the article for publication in the journal.

3.5 The publication of an article in the journal is based on a positive review outcome and compliance with all editorial requirements.

3.6 Due to limited human resources and the voluntary nature of the editorial board’s work, authors are required to take on specific responsibilities under the term “Author’s Edition”:

3.6.1 The responsibility for initial layout of the manuscript and subsequent corrections lies with the authors.

3.6.2 Authors must independently format their manuscripts according to the template provided on the journal’s website. The formatting should adhere to the guidelines and technology described in the template.

3.6.3  Authors are responsible for correcting any errors and making necessary changes to the manuscript as requested by the editor and/or reviewer.

3.6.4 The editor preparing the journal issue will only conduct essential technical editing to compile all articles into a cohesive journal.
