Effective Document Workflow Management Using a Corporate Portal
Abstract
A corporate portal is a web application that facilitates collaboration among company employees and enhances work productivity and information security. It allows for quick and convenient exchange of information between different departments and individual employees, which promotes the efficient organization of work processes. Additionally, it significantly reduces the time and costs associated with gathering and processing information, as the corporate portal enables storing all necessary information in one place. Information security is maintained through control over access to confidential information, reducing the risk of its loss or misuse. The convenience and availability of communication and collaborative work on documents enable the quality organization of business processes among employees located in different locations.
The development of a corporate portal and document workflow system is an important step in automating company business processes, simplifying work with large volumes of information, reducing the risk of data loss or corruption, preserving document history, improving communication between company departments, and ensuring overall efficiency.
