Vol. 5 No. 1 (2026): Challenges and Issues of Modern Science

Challenges and Issues of Modern Science is an interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to technological advancement and cross-sectoral scientific progress, spanning the full life cycle of innovation — from conceptual design to operation and end-of-life strategies — across aerospace and mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, materials science, electrical and power engineering, automation, robotics, software engineering, cybersecurity, project management, market analysis, and environmental safety.

This issue reflects that interdisciplinary scope through contributions on energy efficiency in solar-assisted cooling systems, geotechnical reinforcement analysis under strip footing loads, biochar-based adsorption for dye-contaminated water, and a probabilistic health risk assessment of groundwater contamination near industrial effluent sources. Project management and digital entrepreneurship are addressed through a scoping review of data analytics in decision-making and a study of digital platforms supporting international innovation networks. The Market Synergy section contributes studies on the digital divide in household technology adoption and the comparative market conditions for AI HealthTech startups across Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Together, the papers illustrate how engineering, digital transformation, and market-oriented analysis converge across diverse regional contexts.

This issue is published in accordance with the 2026 Plan of Scientific Publications of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, approved by the University Academic Council.
