Abstract
The paper is dedicated to a brief overview of existing proposals for converting solar energy into thermal and electrical energy, as well as the physical principles on which these proposals are based. The main focus is on the possibility of implementing high-temperature heating using methods suitable for creating powerful thermal installations.
